Art for Families at the Princeton University Art Museum

Check the Art Museum’s calendar for a full schedule of free activities provided to families on Saturday mornings. Drop in any time between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and enjoy an engaging gallery activity followed by a related art project. Each week has a different theme.

Artful Adventures

Artful Adventures is a series of self-guided tours and activities available for families to enjoy at their own pace. Children pick up a Passport to Adventure at the Museum's information desk and choose from many activity guides, ranging from Medieval Europe to the Arts of Africa or Japan. Once an activity is completed, the child may collect a sticker for his or her passport.

Family Days

In October and May of each year, the Art Museum invites families to enjoy a special fun-filled day of art-making, scavenger hunts, live performances, stories, and refreshments.

Visiting the Princeton University Art Museum

The Art Museum provides guided tours for schools, scouting groups, homeschoolers, and other organizations. Museum docents work with teachers and group leaders to customize each tour, ensuring that it meets the needs and interests of the group.
