Princeton University recently made a $10,000 contribution to the West Windsor-Plainsboro Send Hunger Packing program.  This program provides weekend meal packages for approximately 175 children from grades K to 6 in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District in association with Mercer Street Friends. The meal packages are distributed during the school year to help keep these children from going hungry on the weekends so they return to school on Monday well-nourished and ready to learn.

Participating in the check presentation were, left to right: Kristin S. Appelget (Princeton University), Kani Ilangovan (SHuP), Sherri Andrews (SHuP), Brian Peterson (Community Resource Liaison for Mercer Street Friends Food Bank), Melissa Hager (SHuP), Daniel C. Luchansky (SHuP), Daniel A. Luchansky (SHuP), Gerard Dalton (Assistant Superintendent, West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District) and Erin Metro (Princeton University).
