Bio/Description

Gina Mastro is the Program Manager for Educational Outreach – Community and Regional Affairs at Princeton University. In this position, she oversees educational programming which brings Princeton University and the local community together through a love for learning. She manages the Community Auditing Program, the Continuing Education Program, and the Community College Faculty Program. These programs provide opportunities for community members to strengthen their educational background and encourages them to become lifelong learners. As a member of the National Council for Continuing Education and Training she keeps abreast of trends and changes in education across the United States. Gina is an advocate for Princeton University Employee Resource groups, and the Vice President of the Women’s Employee Resource Group.

Prior to joining the Office of Community and Regional Affairs, Gina worked in the Program in Teacher Preparation managing professional development programs for New Jersey teachers and administrators.

Gina prides herself in being a lifelong learner and education advocate. She holds a master’s degree in Education from The College of New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Elizabethtown College. At Elizabethtown College she was President and Regional Officer of the National Association for Music Education, formerly known as Music Educators National Conference, and a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, the foreign language honor society.

Fun Fact: I am a classically trained soprano, an expert crocheter, and enjoy singing the National Anthem for Princeton University sports teams.
