The Student Life team at the Graduate School is collecting cotton, acrylic or washable yarn to donate to “Knit Wits”, a group of knitters at the Princeton Senior Resource Center. The group creates and donates: lap blankets for disabled veterans and critically ill children, infant caps for newborn babies in the hospital, and hats and scarves for local homeless and needy families.
Undergrads, off-campus students, faculty and staff can place donations in the orange bin near the rear entrance of 228 Alexander Street.
Residential collection sites (for grad students living in respective residential areas ONLY):
• Lakeside residents will find a donation bin located the mailroom
• Residence of Lawrence Apartments can make donation in the vestibule of Building 1
• Students residing in the Graduate College can drop off donations to the Porter's Lodge window
The deadline for donations is December 18.
